Event Policies

Deposits & Payments

• A 40% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm and reserve an event date.
• A $500 refundable security deposit (per home) is required to cover incidental damages.
• Final balance is due 30 days before the event date.
• Silver City at Miles Ranch accepts cash, checks, and major credit cards for your convenience. Please be aware that credit card fees may apply.
• Military and first responder discounts available. Please mention when inquiring.

Cancellations

• Cancellations made less than 90 days prior to the event require full balance payment.
• If the date is re-booked, fees may be refunded (less the non-refundable deposit and a $1,500 cancellation fee).
• All cancellations must be made in writing.

Children & Minors

• All children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• Minors are prohibited from consuming alcohol.

Pets

• Pets are not permitted in homes.
• Ceremony animals must be supervised and crated if necessary.

Damages

• Client is fully responsible for any damages or excessive cleaning.
• Security deposit may be withheld for damages, lost property, or improper cleanup.

Alcohol & Insurance

• An officer is required to be present through the end of every event. We take care of arranging this for you as part of our package services, so you won’t need to coordinate it separately.
• Additional certificates of insurance may be required for organizations or companies.

Venue Use

• Your rental includes up to 12 hours of venue access, with 5 hours dedicated to your event. To honor our community’s local sound ordinance, all events must conclude by 11:00 PM.
• Event hours: 11:00 am – 11:00 pm. All items must be removed by midnight.
• Certain suites and areas are restricted to approved use only.

Maximum guest capacity

• 300 guests indoor & outdoor
• 270 guests inside for a ceremony or cocktail reception
• 170 inside for a seated reception

Prohibited Items

• Fireworks, firearms, weapons, explosives, non-biodegradable décor (rice, glitter, confetti, etc.).
• Smoking only in designated areas.

Liability & Indemnification

• Client assumes all liability for guests, vendors, and invitees.
• Silver City at Miles Ranch is not responsible for injuries, lost/stolen property, or vendor performance.

Photography

Silver City at Miles Ranch reserves the right to take and use event photos for marketing.
